TEAMS & INFO - Culpeper Youth Rugby

Our Club

Our club offers tag and tackle youth rugby programs for boys and girls.

Tackle rugby is offered for grades 3-12 and is primarily played in the spring from March – May with pre-season training starting in January. There are also opportunities to play tackle 7s rugby in the summer.

Tag rugby is offered for pre-K – 12th grade from June-July and provides a great foundation for new and experienced players to develop their rugby skills.

During each season, players should expect two practice sessions during the week and matches on Saturdays.

Players are also offered special opportunities to play in tournaments, participate in training events and attend collegiate and professional rugby matches.

The only equipment players will need are cleats and a mouthguard. Players are allowed to wear a protective scrum-cap but this is not required.
